2025 was a year of learning, building, experimenting, and strengthening our work towards a more inclusive and sustainable economy through social business.
From supporting women entrepreneurs in Satun to build sustainable livelihoods through seaweed cultivation, reaching students and educators through environmental education, strengthening financial inclusion through Grameen Thailand, to advancing social procurement and circular economy solutions across the region.
Each initiative reflects our belief that business can be a powerful force for solving social and environmental challenges.
Some highlights from 2025 include:
- 🌿 Supporting 35 women-led seaweed entrepreneurs in coastal communities.
- 🌏 Reaching more than 750,000 students worldwide through Waste Hero Education.
- 🤝 Connecting 50+ researchers from 11 countries through the Global Seaweed Community of Practice.
- 📚 Engaging 55 youths through immersive social business education.
- 💡 Strengthening social businesses and building partnerships across sectors to create lasting impact.
But beyond the numbers, this report is also about the people who make this work meaningful; our partners, entrepreneurs, educators, researchers, communities, and everyone who has been part of this journey.
We believe meaningful change happens when people come together, ideas turn into action, and business becomes a tool for creating a better world.
