Thailand Country Forum at the 14th Social Business Days in Manila, Philippines
At the 14th Social Business Days, Thailand’s forum, hosted by Dr. Faiz H. Shah and Callum Mackenzie, gathered over 35 members from Yunus Thailand, Yunus Center AIT (YCA), Payap Center for Social Impact at Payap University, Kasetsart University, Chulalongkorn University’s Social Research Institute, Impact Hub Asia Pacific, Rizq, and Academia of Enterpreneurs.
Prof. Muhammad Yunus and Lamiya Morshed of Yunus Centre also participated, highlighting Thailand's pivotal role in advancing social business. The forum's conclusions were later presented on stage by Jonathan Brenes, Research & Innovation Lead of Yunus Thailand.

On August 7, 2024, Yunus Thailand proudly participated in the "Waste Hero Education Excellence Announcement" event, a significant milestone hosted in collaboration with Indorama Ventures, the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainability (SEAMEO SEPS), and the SEAMEO Secretariat at the Indorama Ventures headquarters. This event celebrated the successful partnership among Yunus Thailand, Indorama Ventures, and SEAMEO SEPS, underscoring our shared commitment to the 2024 Waste Hero Development Campaign and the 2024 Waste Hero School Competition.
White paper - Catalyzing an Innovation Ecosystem for People-centred Justice in Southeast Asia
Last week, Yunus Thailand had the privilege of presenting the White Paper on Catalysing an Innovation Ecosystem for People-Centred Justice in Southeast Asia on the second day of the UN Regional Conference on People-Centered Justice, held in Bangkok from 11-13 November. The regional conference gathered over 200 participants from across the Asia-Pacific region with a common vision of achieving just societies by leveraging people-centric approaches. The regional conference provided a space to gather wider insights from experts in various sectors across Southeast Asia and beyond during the panel discussion and a world cafe session organised by the UN Development Program’s Judicial Integrity Network for ASEAN.
