The SEA-MaP 2nd Innovation Expo: Preventing Plastic Pollution - Scaling ASEAN Circular Solutions, organized by the Regional Platform for Innovation and Investments in collaboration with partners, successfully concluded on 18 December 2025 in Bangkok. The Expo brought together start-ups, corporates, investors, policymakers and other stakeholders to showcase solutions and strengthen regional partnerships for the circular plastics economy.

28 November 2024, In Southern Thailand, women's empowerment is becoming an increasingly important focus, particularly in light of the region's unique cultural and socio-economic landscape. While the southern border provinces face distinct challenges, there are many opportunities for women to play a vital role in economic and community development. Efforts to overcome traditional gender roles and cultural stigmas are helping create a more inclusive environment where women can actively contribute to society. These initiatives are supported by a growing recognition of the importance of women's leadership and the value they bring to both local and regional progress.

On 12 December 2024, Yunus Thailand , PXP Sustainability and the Yunus Social Business Center at the Chulalongkorn University Social Research Institute (CUSRI) co-hosted a seminar on ASEAN Plastic Policy Interventions and Implementation Experiences from Thailand. The seminar gathered over 40 representatives at the Chula Social Innovation Hub to exchange research findings on this important topic following recent international negotiations toward a global plastics treaty.
